Friends have an Annual Meeting, to which all members are invited. Formal business includes reports from the Commissioner for BGIFC and the BGIFC Training Advisor, the adoption of the Annual Accounts and there is usually a guest speaker. The 2016 AGM weekend was a fantastic weekend in Paris/Versailles whilst the 2017 AGM is 1 April at St Hilda's College, Oxford. We have plans for the next overseas weekend in 2019. During 2016 the Friends were really pleased to be able support girls attending International camp in Finland and a number of girls and Diane Thomas representing BGIFC in their trip to China and Inner Mongolia. In 2017 we will be providing financial support to Challenge '17 and we would love to see members at the camp Friends Day on 27 July. Look out for new merchandise during 2017; new polo shirts and really attractive BGIFC notelets which will make fantastic Thank You cards to all your guiding friends.
